How to run “Vidalia Control Panel” in Backtrack Linux

The “Tor Network Control” or “Vidalia Control Panel” can’t run in Backtrack Linux. Because the Backtrack Linux is running in “root” permission.

This Solution to edit “tor startup script” to bypass checked “root permission”

1. open “text editor” in Backtrack Linux
2. open file “start_tor_browser”
3. find word “if [ “`id -u`” -eq 0 ]; then” and add “#” before the word in Fig.
4. Save this file and run.
5. Enjoy!
